What is a family session at home like?

Having your session at home is as comfy as a photo session can get. At home sessions are perfect for shy toddlers or a child that is on the spectrum . Being at home makes anyone more relaxed and more themselves but it’s also a great solution for some families to make a photo session possible.

Your home also lends itself as a storytelling backdrop. Your photos will memorialize not only your family right now but your home right now. Kids grow so fast and our homes change over the years to reflect the stage of childhood they are in. Some of my favorite photos from my own childhood are favorites because I see a glimpse of the rooms I used to live in and items, such as a record player, that were an integral part of our daily lives. That nostalgia will make your family photos that much more valuable to you in years to come.
