This One Year Birthday Session in Columbus Ohio was a family affair, with big sister turning 3 in the same month, and their 2 dogs joining in on the fun. There a ton of great photographers in Columbus that do elaborate backdrops and themes for one year photos and cake smashes. But if you want a simple setup with vintage vibes and gorgeous natural lighting then we may be a good fit! We’re also a good fit if you want family photos included. I love including the family in the session (even pets!)because while we are certainly celebrating your baby we are also celebrating your first year of parenthood with that child. Including the whole family also gives you lots of variety in your gallery. I often include nursing photos as well since at one year many Mom’s are at the end of their nursing journey.

This session was back in February so I used a studio with big windows and setup a simple organic and whimsical backdrop of layered fabric, fresh greenery, and simple vintage props.
