Looking for a lifestyle newborn session that has a nice blend of lifestyle and styled photos of your newborn and family? Styled portraits are planned out portraits using props. My particular brand of styled newborn portraits are designed to not look overly posed or fake. I use natural window light (or outside sunlight) rather than studio lights and use props (baskets, stuffed animals, and real flowers and greenery) that look like they could be found in a cottage in the countryside or have a vintage look. In the newborn portraits from the session below I used a white vintage quilt and pillow that are both heirlooms in my client’s family. The basket portraits used a woodland animal theme using items I mostly found in their nursery.
