Kate and I had been planning her family session for many months so I was thrilled to finally meet her. We met in German Village for the beautiful brick backdrops and quant architecture. Kate wanted to document this time in their son’s life but they also wanted elevated family photos to hang as a gallery in their new home. I loved the term ‘elevated’ that she used. It’s another way of saying artistIc or stylish. That is always my goal when creating your family photos. To make sweet and adorable portraits of your children but in a stylish and artistic way rather than cutesy or overly staged.
