This family! It’s been an absolute joy to witness their parenthood story from the very beginning with their maternity session. As you can imagine, expecting twins was quite an exciting event. It was so special to be apart of their joy.

How was this session planned? I offer quite a big range in options for one year birthday sessions. You can do a full session with baby portraits, family portraits and a cake smash or combination of these. These twin parents wanted a family session that didn’t scream birthday but was full of cottage core whimsy. My Greenhouse Studio was a perfect setting for vintage garden inspired portraits. Plus the twins had so much fun exploring and playing on the garden swing. They had their newborn photos done in the Greenhouse Studio so it provided some unity between the two sessions as well.

Was it difficult photographing twin babies? I always plan fun little games and provide new things for babies to play with and explore so these sessions are never tiresome or challenging. I provide a safe environment for them to play with their parents and the big grins come naturally. So a twin session was truly twice the fun and not a headache like you may think! 😂
